Binance Spot API Service Upgrade (2024-08-08)

Fellow Binancians,

To improve the trading experience of Spot API users, Binance Spot API will launch FIX API and Drop Copy sessions at 2024-08-08 05:00 (UTC).

To connect to these new services, users can visit the API Management page and configure the desired Ed25519 API key with the “Enable FIX API Trading” or “Enable FIX API Reading” permission.

Notes: 

  • FIX API can only be used in Binance Spot.

  • Only Ed25519 API keys can be connected to FIX API and Drop Copy Sessions.

  • For Margin, only the Ed25519 Margin Special API Key can be connected to the FIX API.

  • Spot trading will not be impacted during the upgrade.
