You know that euphoric state when all your coins are in profits, people are going nuts talking about it, all the gains you see people getting and you wish you had got in at that time but didn’t, instead you jump in on it and want to be part of the euphoria.

DON’T!!

Fomo - fear of missing out - is going to lead you to more losses. Because by the time you jump on in because of all the hype - you would have gotten in on a high and then a dip comes in and you panic, stress and end up selling in a loss to avoid liquidation. Do that plenty of times and you will be liquidated.

Take the time to learn technical analysis. It is crucial. The crypto market is here to stay and it will give you plenty of opportunities.

Do not FOMO in!!

Just like now - everyone is going to be talking about making so much money on an airdrop or some coin etc. Don’t worry - plenty of other opportunities out there. There is no one trade to being a millionaire.

EMOTIONLESS TRADING!

When I started my trading journey, I made a lot of emotional decisions. Removed stop losses, got liquidated and lost around $3,000. I didn’t take my profits timely. Nothing - just to make a quick buck.

When I would get a loss I would quickly take another trade to cover the loss and end up digging myself a hole. In that instance, you are emotionally charged. Probably angry at yourself, anxious, sad. A bunch of other emotions kicking in at that time.

Take emotions out of the trade. Thats what it is. It is a trade. Buy low and sell high. No emotions involved. Things aren’t working out for you that day? Close your mobiles/laptops. Leave it for another day. When your emotions kick in you are bound to trade in more losses.

Sometimes it is better to take a step back and reassess the entire situation. Reassess yourself. You aren’t attached to a coin. Take your profit - set your stop losses to break even then. Close trades in profit. Learn risk management.

This doesn’t happen overnight but take advice from people who have been through it. It will only help you become a better trader. Learn from others mistakes.

THE IMPORTANCE OF STOP LOSS!!

It is absolutely important to understand the concept of stop loss when you are beginning a life in trading. A complete newbie or experienced trader - the biggest mistake you can make is not using stop loss.

This is an order you set for in case the market goes completely south. Not only would you lose your profits but also get liquidated completely. Meaning, you risk losing all your funds in the hope the market will swing back up.

Many people think this only applies to Futures trading. Sure, majority of the time when you look at signals its for futures which gives you entry points, tps and stop loss. However, Not everybody trades in futures. Some people also trade in spot. For those looking for short - medium term holds can use stop loss to avoid big losses.

Not only are you saving yourself - you are keeping yourself in the game. Otherwise it is very easy to get wiped out. Look at the bigger picture - sometimes it’s easier to just bite the bullet and take a small hit.

This should be one of the first things you learn along with risk management. Which is why i keep saying

RISK MANAGEMENT!!

One thing that many traders need to focus on is proper risk management. You will come across many people jump into trading thinking they will make huge profits instantaneously. Instead they lose all that money and complain about how things went south etc.

It does not work that way!

The market reacts to various things - which are not in our control. Therefore, it is better to minimise your risk. Exercise and learn proper risk management.

Take profits and use stop losses. Would you rather close a trade at a 10% profit or close trade at a 50% loss? Take the small wins. Little steps are going to go a long way.

Nobody was ever hurt by taking profits. Nobody was ever hurt by managing their risk.

Exercise Patience!

I think many can relate to this. When i came in to the Crypto Market, i thought the trades move quick. Jumping from trade to another because I thought I was going to miss out on profits and only ended up selling in losses because FOMO and greed. Natural human instinct.

I started off with $200 USDT. Lost it all. Then focused on learning, doing technical analysis, reading the graphs.

It was simple - data determines everything!!

Just need to put in the time and make the effort. Don’t follow everyone for information because it can confuse you. Follow 2-3 people, get insights, look back at history, understand Tradingview and how to use it.

Exercise patience. When you do get into a trade - understand it will make you money. Just be patient. A trade can take a few hours to days to weeks. As long as your TA is strong. I was able to recover my $200 and make profit on top from which I have bought my Long Term coins.

Patience is the token you need and patience is what you HODL.

I hope I am able to get through to the newbies in this. It will help you.

Putting your money to work. Earning daily rewards on locking your coins/assets. You will be rewarded and natually increase asset quantity.
