As I have said before on Twitter, it is an honor to take on the role of CEO of Binance, succeeding the visionary founder of this incredible company, and I do so with the deepest humility. Over the past six years, Binance has laid a foundation that has positioned it for decades of continued growth and success. My role now is to lead our committed and talented team into that future while respecting and learning from the past. This, along with the trust placed in us by our more than 160 million users, are great responsibilities that I take very seriously. A pillar of this organization has always been the idea that innovation must bring value to users. The best way to put this principle into practice, the Binance way, is to consistently offer best-in-class products that people use and find valuable. As the new CEO of Binance, I am determined to stay firmly on this course. We will remain committed to product excellence and continue to lead the way in financial innovation. Over the past two years, Binance has consistently worked to address its past compliance issues through a series of significant efforts to select, hire, and retain the right personnel to strengthen Binance's culture and compliance program.As an industry, we must focus more than ever on engaging with policymakers. Only then can we contribute effectively to the development of a globally harmonized regulatory framework that encourages innovation while offering fundamental protection to consumers. Realizing this ambitious vision of a better Web will be impossible without collaboratively promoting regulatory innovation. I believe that the years I spent running Abu Dhabi Global Market, one of the UAE's most important international financial centres, equipped me very well for this component of my new job. I am proud to have driven the creation of what is widely considered one of the most progressive and forward-thinking regulatory regimes for digital assets in the world. This experience certainly gives me a nuanced perspective on the regulatory landscape needed to lead Binance in the next chapter of its history.
