The SEC has approved options trading for BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) Spot $BTC ETF. Options are contracts that give the right to buy or sell an underlying asset at a specific price. The move is a major step for Bitcoin in traditional finance and for BlackRock clients who have participated in the iShares Bitcoin Trust.

Singapore-based crypto exchange BingX has been hacked, according to data from PeckShield . BingX lost about $43 million from its hot wallets. The hacker sold various altcoin assets on chain and transferred some assets to other addresses. The exchange called it “small” and halted withdrawals, ensuring most of the assets were safe in cold wallets and promising a compensation plan.
