According to Foresight News, in response to Bitcoin core developer Luke Dashjr's intention to fix the Bitcoin Core vulnerability, SlowMist Technology founder Yu Xian posted on the social platform that it was unnecessary. He said, "The impact of this Pandora's box accidentally opened due to the introduction of Taproot (a good thing) is not only a pile of Spam, but also the activeness of the Bitcoin ecosystem. This ecosystem is not just about serial numbers/inscriptions. Of course, if this is fixed, there can be a compatible solution to better open the Bitcoin ecosystem. It is better to suffer a short pain than a long pain."
