Odaily Planet Daily News South Korean crypto exchange Upbit has clarified that a list of tokens that are allegedly to be delisted that has been circulating on the Internet is false. Upbit refuted the list on its official channel on the Korean messaging app Kakao, calling it "groundless." After the list allegedly began to circulate on online forums, the prices of altcoins listed on Upbit fell sharply. The incident came as South Korea's "Virtual Asset User Protection Act" will take effect on July 19. Upbit stressed that a large-scale delisting as rumored is extremely unlikely to happen.
