The recent Zksync airdrop attracted the attention of the cryptocurrency community because of the huge number of tokens distributed. However, besides the joy of a few people who were said to be lucky enough to receive the airdrop, many mixed opinions also appeared, focusing on the lack of fairness, non-transparency and large disparities in token allocation.

The key point lies in the point system used to evaluate user engagement. According to Zksync, points are calculated based on many activities such as:

* Trade on zkSync

* Provide liquidity for DeFi protocols

* Use the Paymaster feature

* Trade many different ERC-20 tokens

* Own NFT Libertas Omnibus

* Join Gitcoin's referral program

However, many users believe that this point system lacks transparency and does not accurately reflect their level of contribution to Zksync. Some examples:

* Scored activities are not clearly differentiated in terms of impact. For example, wallet usage on zkSync is scored, but it is unclear whether frequent transactions or just basic interactions are rated higher.

* Many users said that they fully participated in the activities but did not receive the airdrop, or received a smaller amount than expected.

* Some opinions say that the point system favors users who invest early or have many large transactions.

* Huge difference between the highest and lowest airdrop token amounts. According to records, the user who received the most could be more than 100,000 ZK, while many others received only a few hundred or even nothing (the gap was as large as 220 times).

* With 695232 eligible wallets and 3675000000 tokens allocated, the allocation is not fair and not decentralized when up to 91.02% = (632515) wallets receive only 37.7% of the allocated tokens in When 8.98% = (62717) wallets receive 62.3% of the token allocation and this is an incredibly concentrated token allocation.

In addition to the points mentioned before, the lack of detailed information on how to distribute Zksync airdrop tokens makes the community even more frustrated:

* Zksync does not announce the specific number of tokens allocated to each meeting criteria. This makes it impossible for users to know exactly how each activity affects the number of tokens received.

* The amount of tokens allocated to the multiplier per dollar held and dollar liquidity are also not disclosed. This lack of information makes it impossible for users to accurately predict how many tokens they will receive based on the amount of assets they hold and liquidity provision.

This lack of transparency leads to many doubts about fairness and the possibility of manipulating the system. Some users believe that Zksync intentionally hides information to favor certain user groups.

To solve these problems, Zksync needs:

* Announce details of the number of tokens allocated to each criteria met.

* Provides clear information about the multiplier for each dollar held and dollar liquidated.

* Explain specifically how to calculate the number of airdrop tokens for each wallet.

Only when Zksync shows full transparency can the community have confidence in the fairness of the airdrop and continue to support the project.
