Popular Solana Dogecoin Bonk ($BONK) recorded the heaviest intra-week losses of any leading Dogecoin.

The popular Shiba Inu-themed coin is down 21% in seven days, trading at $0.00002756 at the time of writing.

In comparison, the original dogecoin, Dogecoin ($DOGE), is down 10% over the week and was earlier trading at $0.1449.

The only meme coin to come close to Bonk’s relatively poor week is DogWifHat ($WIF) on the same chain, which is down 20% and is trading at $2.74 as of this writing.

Overall, the Dogecoin category had a poor week.

Pepe ($PEPE), the cryptocurrency inspired by the viral frog meme, fell 17% to $0.00001262.

On the other hand, Bitcoin ($BTC), the world’s most popular cryptocurrency, is up slightly by 1% during the week, reaching $69,367 as of Monday, June 10.

Bonk’s 7-day trading chart performance

As you can see on Bonk’s trading chart, the poor performance during the week has seen the coin’s support levels fall.

Support has risen steadily since mid-April, from the mid-April low of $0.000013 to the early June baseline of $0.000031, as shown by the green line on the chart, but this week’s decline could erase those gains.

Bonk rose to a recent high of $0.00004362 on May 29, just 4% below its all-time high of $0.00004547 on March 4 of this year, ten days after market leader Bitcoin ($BTC) hit reached a record high price of $73,737.94.

The coin’s relative strength index (RSI) is around 40, and if meme coin enthusiasts continue to buy the dip, the RSI may rise.

Bonk kicks off Solana’s memecoin explosion

Bonk’s homegrown chain Solana is cultivating a thriving community of app developers to compete with Ethereum in the commercial space.

Solana currently hosts over $4.54 billion in total value locked (TVL) across a variety of applications and financial services, has 1.7 million active users transacting daily, and has over 2,500 monthly active developers.

Bonk is just one of several Solana projects to crack the top 10 within a year of launch. Other leading Solana meme coins include DogWifHat ($WIF), Book of Meme ($BOME) and Popcat ($POPCAT).

Slothana ($SLOTH), another Solana joke token for stoners, raised a staggering $15 million in a recent month-long crypto presale.

But now there’s a new Solana memecoin with huge potential that’s still on pre-sale; this time the token isn’t Dogecoin.

Meet Solana’s new viral meme coin: Sealana ($SEAL)

Sealana by Solana ($SEAL) is a take on the viral Gamer Guy from South Park. The all-American redneck seal has raised over the $4 million mark in hilarious new pre-sales over the past month.

Gamer Guy first appeared in the "World of Warcraft" episode of South Park, and thanks to his milk bottle glasses, lock-screen stare, cluttered room and exaggerated body shape, he has become a symbol of excessive screen use, from keyboard warrior to To the couch (or table) potatoes.

When Solana’s memecoin gold rush begins, Sealana has the potential to surpass Pepe and emerge from her mom’s basement into the high-volume memecoin world; a true patriot in search of the “American Dream.”

Investors looking to prepare for the gold rush have just over 2 weeks to purchase $SEAL at a fixed pre-sale price of $0.022.

Sealana’s pre-sale will end at 6pm on June 25th. That means this could be the last chance to get in early before potential post-listing appreciation takes it skyward.

Forget Pepe, Sealana is cryptocurrency’s hottest new meme coin!
