📢 Hong Kong Securities and Exchange Commission (SFC) updated the list of cryptocurrency trading platforms. 11 platforms have been accepted for licensing: HKbitEX, PantherTrade, Accumulus, DFX Labs, Bixin.com, xWhale, YAX, Bullish, Crypto.com, WhaleFin and Matrixport HK. 😮 However, 6 platforms are still waiting for licenses: BGE, HKVAX, VDX, bitV, HKX and bitcoinworld. SFC reminds that not all candidates are licensed yet and are not required to comply with SFC's requirements. 🚫 This means that from June 1, all cryptocurrency trading platforms operating in Hong Kong must be licensed or accepted for a license from the SFC. Platforms operating without a license are considered to be committing a crime and the SFC states that it will take action against any illegal activity. ⚠️
