Happycoin.club - As of May 28, BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) recorded an influx of $102.5 million. At the same time, investors withdrew almost $105 million from Grayscale's GBTC.

Another influx of capital makes BlackRock's IBIT the largest spot Bitcoin ETF. The fund currently holds 288,670 bitcoins, with Grayscale's GBTC holding 287,450 coins. According to bitcoin tracker Apollo, this is markedly less than in January 2024, when Grayscale's ETF held 620,000 bitcoins.

According to Bloomberg, BlackRock's IBIT assets are currently valued at $19.68 billion, Grayscale's GBTC at $19.65 billion. Fidelity's exchange-traded fund has accumulated $11.1 billion since its launch in January.

The main buyers of IBIT were funds from the investment company BlackRock itself, focused on income and bonds. Strategic Income Opportunities Fund (BSIIX) purchased $3.56 million in IBIT shares and Strategic Global Bond Fund (MAWIX) purchased $485,000 in the first quarter of 2024, according to SEC filings released May 28.
