According to a statement on May 29, decentralized AI entities Fetch.ai, SingularityNET, and Ocean Protocol announced plans to complete the merger of the Artificial Super Intelligence Alliance (ASI) by June 2024. The merger will unify the native tokens of these AI-centric protocols into the ASI token, which has a total supply of 2.63055 billion tokens. As of May 28, the market value of the new token was $5.8 billion.
FET token holders can migrate to ASI through the token migration contract until June 11. Similarly, holders of SingularityNET’s AGIX and Ocean Protocol’s OCEAN tokens can swap their tokens until June 13. The merger is expected to be completed within three months of the initial proposal.
