Will Bitcoin Drop Again? Bitcoin is having a hard time staying above $60,000, with market sentiment shifting every time the price moves up or down. In this article, we’ll analyze the weekly chart, as higher timeframes are the most effective tools for observing market volatility. Before diving into the current situation, let’s revisit what I discussed in last week’s Bitcoin update. Last Week’s Update: In my previous update, I mentioned that despite a solid weekly close, Bitcoin was still below the $60,000–$61,000 zone. This created some uncertainty about whether to focus on the bullish candle or the key resistance zone. I personally decided to wait for a breakout above this level before making any decisions. Now, let’s look at the current scenario. BTC/USD (Weekly Chart): The last weekly candle attempted to push higher but failed to hold above the previous support zone, which now acts as resistance. On the weekly chart, there’s no confirmation of an upward trend for Bitcoin unless it bounces back above this zone and holds. BTC/USD (Daily Chart): The recent upward move was likely a short squeeze, where market makers liquidated traders who shorted near the $50,000 level. Since then, the price has continued to struggle. Typically, a strong upward movement is sustained, as shown in the example below. In summary, I’m currently staying on the sidelines because there isn’t a clear trade setup for Bitcoin right now. I’m waiting for the price to either break above the crucial $61,000 zone or for another dip to occur. At the moment, it’s a waiting game for me. I hope this update was helpful. Is it possible to predict which coins will be listed on Binance in advance? While there's never a 100% guarantee, and anyone claiming certainty is likely a scammer, it is possible to assess which coins have a higher chance of being listed by analyzing certain data. Here's how: I looked into the investments made by various venture capital firms and examined the percentage of projects they invested in that were eventually listed on Binance. For example, Jump Trading has invested in 10 projects, with half of them ending up on Binance. Similarly, DWFLabs, a well-known venture capital firm, has a success rate close to 40%. Binance Labs has achieved a listing rate of around 45%. As shown in the visual, the projects they’ve invested in are heavily weighted towards gaming, such as $TLM, $DAR, and $ALICE, which were listed in the past. Although these are still early-stage investments, I believe this success rate will increase over time. By monitoring the projects these VCs invest in and conducting our own research, we can improve our chances of identifying projects before they are listed. BounceBit's Q2 2024 Financial Report highlights significant developments, starting with the launch of the $BB token through Binance Megadrop. This event drew attention for its integration of Bitcoin restaking and CeDeFi (Centralized-Decentralized Finance), aimed at expanding Bitcoin's utility beyond just a store of value. On May 13th, BounceBit officially launched its Mainnet, introducing an innovative Dual Token Proof-of-Stake (DTPoS) mechanism. This allows both $BTC and $BB tokens to be staked for network security. The BounceBit Chain, a Layer 1 blockchain specialized for CeDeFi activities, facilitates delta-neutral yield generation for $BTC and $USDT, along with efficient off-exchange trading. Through Megadrop, the Water Margin TVL Event, and the BounceClub Testnet, over 250 million $BB tokens were distributed to more than 2.8 million unique addresses, rewarding early supporters of the protocol. With the Mainnet launch, BounceBit introduced "Liquid Custody," allowing assets to remain liquid while generating yields. Currently, $350.94 million are locked in Liquid Custody, comprising 5,375 $BBTC and 24 million $BBUSD. In Q2 and Q3, BounceBit launched several key products within the CeDeFi framework, including BounceBit Premium, Easy, Superfast, and a collaboration with Ethena Labs. These products generated a total profit of over $9 million in BTC and USDT. The BounceBit Chain's unique PoS system has attracted over 4,300 BTC and 57 million $BB in stakes, with a Total Value Locked (TVL) of more than $287 million in Liquid Staking. The network is secured by 25 professional node operators and has seen over 2.58 million unique accounts and 4.18 million transactions within three months. Looking ahead, BounceBit plans to release "In AOut," a CeDeFi liquidity incentive mechanism in Q3/Q4. This will introduce CeDeFi Liquidity Mining (CLM), where users can mine tokens by trading on Binance, with rewards based on transaction volume.
