#ETH 🤓 The developers have planned a Pectra update for the end of the first quarter of 2025

Ethereum developers plan to activate the Pectra update by the end of the first quarter of 2025.

The update includes many improvements, as well as enabling account abstraction features.

The developers will replace EIP-3074 with a new proposal, EIP-7702, proposed by Vitalik Buterin.

Account abstraction will allow wallets to perform the functions of smart contracts and implement many important tools into them (recovery, transaction packs to save gas, gas sponsorship, etc.).#Ethereum $ETH
