Trump's other notable holdings include 434,341 $ETH ($1.59 million) and 374,772 Wrapped Ether (WETH), worth $1.37 million. His last active wallet transaction was sending 250 #Ethereum to the Coinbase cryptocurrency exchange on December 28, 2023.
Trump recently made headlines after publicly announcing that he would accept cryptocurrency donations for his presidential campaign. BeInCrypto reported that during a special event for holders of its âMugshot Editionâ NFT in Florida earlier this month, Trump also expressed his satisfaction with cryptocurrencies. Former US president said:
âAnd if you like cryptocurrencies, [âŠ] if you are for cryptocurrencies, you better vote for Trump.â
Trump's positive attitude towards the industry has also sparked a renaissance of interest in political memes, especially those related to him. At the beginning of May, the top 50 memes saw a combined increase in market capitalization of over 10%. During this period, TRUMP, TurboToadToken (TURBO), and Ponke (PONKE) rose 12% to lead the sector.
