On the way back from the countryside...
During the drive, I heard Dr. Feynman's "The Joy of Discovery" say: You can't expect old designs to work in new environments.
The world is changing too fast, and the only thing that doesn't change is change itself. Thinking about change is the unchanging truth on the road of life. Not thinking about change or being afraid of change is the root of mediocrity!
To stay strong, there are probably two paths:
Or like Cao Dewang, take root in the field you are best at and build the highest barriers, making other competitors unattainable, breaking away from the original constraints, and establishing new rules! This is a change!
Or like Duan Yongping, knowing that the original industry has a ceiling, jump out and do things at a higher level: For example, investment! There is a ceiling for industry, but there is no ceiling for finance. All the wealth in the world is for me! This is also a change!
The root here is also to know how to think about change!
It's like at the Texas Hold'em table, if you lose 10 million and only have 10,000 left, and you still want to turn the tables, you can't stay at the table. You have to switch to another venue, or even another way of playing, so that you can turn the tables when you have enough chips at a certain stage.
If you continue to use 10,000 to compete with others with tens of millions, there is only one way to go!
