Techub News reported that the Shenzhen-Hong Kong cross-border data verification platform has been launched for trial use. The platform uses blockchain technology and data codes (i.e. hash values) to verify files, does not involve cross-border transmission and storage of original data files, and realizes credible verification of data users' self-carried data. The Hong Kong Monetary Authority, Shenzhen Internet Information Office, Shenzhen Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office, Shenzhen Local Financial Administration Bureau, Shenzhen Qianhai Administration Bureau, Shenzhen Branch of the People's Bank of China, and Shenzhen Regulatory Bureau of the State Financial Supervision and Administration Bureau jointly coordinate and promote the construction and testing of the Shenzhen-Hong Kong cross-border data verification platform. The first phase will be the first to launch a trial in the cross-border financial field, covering credit reports and corporate customer account opening data file verification scenarios.
