According to TechFlow, the Hong Kong Economic Journal reported that the Hong Kong Monetary Authority has launched a one-month consultation on renaming "virtual banks" to "licensed digital banks" with eight virtual banks, the Hong Kong Association of Banks, the Hong Kong Restricted License Banks and the Deposit-Taking Companies Association on April 30.
