Cost control is directly related to profitability and is very important for those who participate in Runes. Today we will briefly explain how to accurately control mint costs through BTCBot.
Method 1: Automatic IPO + Highest Gas Price
Click "Menu", click "Main"
You can also click "Wallets" in "Menu" and select the wallet number you want to enter
After clicking "Sniper", click "Add token to whitelist", enter the token name, and then send the message.
Click "Number of Prints" to set the number of prints you want to print.
Click "Maximum gas price", enter a number directly, and send. If the gas price is set to 201sat/vB, mint will be triggered after the BTC network gas price (High Priority) drops to less than the set "Maximum gas price".
Note: After setting the maximum gas price, the comprehensive cost of minting will be controlled within the maximum gas price. However, if the network gas price is always above the "maximum gas price", the "automatic minting" will not be triggered.
Confirm that "Rune automatic new issuance" is turned on to complete the setting.
Second method: via the AutoBoost switch
Taking the above picture as an example, the current network gas price is 233sat/vB. If I think the gas price will not increase much in the future, or I think that transactions issued by 233sat/vB can also be put on the chain (before the Runes token mint process is 100%), I will not worry even if the gas price increases in the short term, and I am not in a hurry to put the current block on the chain. At this time, I can choose to turn off AutoBoost.
Click "Menu", click "Main"
You can also click "Wallets" in "Menu" and select the wallet number you want to enter, such as "w2"
Click on "Wallet Settings"
Click on AutoBoost, click on Always Off
There is no need to switch interfaces. Just enter Z•Z•Z•Z•Z•FEHU•Z•Z•Z•Z•Z in the dialog box below and click Send Message. The "Immediately Submit" interface will pop up. After setting the number of shares, click Submit. The transaction will be issued at the current network's gas price (High Priority).
Examples of 3 subtle operations of AutoBoost:
Now the gas price has risen. If it has not been on the chain after a while, and you want to speed it up, go back to the "Wallet Settings" corresponding to the wallet number just now and set AutoBoost to "Always on".
Now the gas price has gone up. If it hasn't been on the chain for a while, and you want to speed it up, but don't want to speed it up multiple times, go back to "Wallet Settings" to turn on AutoBoost and set AutoBoost to "Always On". If you notice that the gas fee has been accelerated once or twice (with a pop-up message reminder), and you think it's enough to get the transaction on the chain, immediately set AutoBoost to "Always Off" and it will no longer accelerate, so you can precisely control the acceleration.
If you think that Runes token does not need any acceleration at all when the mint process is lower than 45%, and you can directly mint and put it on the chain, and there is no rush to put the current block on the chain, then you can set the mint process of 45% (or other values) in the trigger condition of AutoBoost. In this way, the transactions you issue can only be automatically accelerated when the mint process of Runes token reaches 45%, depending on the network congestion.
The above are the current operating tips for BTCBot regarding mint and acceleration settings. In the future, BTCBot will continue to launch more practical functions to facilitate mint and trading. In addition, the trading market will be launched soon. Thank you for your attention and support for BTCBot, so stay tuned!
