What exactly are Runes?

Runes is a protocol that allows users to engrave data on the smallest unit of Bitcoin (the Satoshi), much like inscribing bricks.

Data Imprinting: Users can write text, pictures, messages and other data at a specific time, and these data will be permanently stored on the Bitcoin blockchain.

For example, when humans first set foot on Mars, you can write the historical record of landing on Mars on Bitcoin at this time. Then this minimum unit of Bitcoin has a special meaning.
