According to The Block, the Bitcoin Lightning Network capacity reached 5,630 BTC on Saturday, breaking the peak record of 5,620 BTC on April 18; the value in US dollars exceeded $172 million, also setting a new record. In the past 12 months, as adoption continues to grow, the Lightning Network capacity has increased by 42% and 105% in Bitcoin and US dollars, respectively.
