BREAKING NEWS: Cryptocurrencies are in Danger! Trust Wallet Warns of Critical Security Vulnerability in iMessage!

Cryptocurrency wallet Trust Wallet has warned iPhone users about a high-risk vulnerability in Apple's messaging app iMessage.

The company announced that, according to information obtained from "reliable sources", hackers can use this vulnerability to perform a zero-day attack on iPhones. This means that the vulnerability has not yet been fixed by Apple and the devices have been at risk since day one.

Trust Wallet recommends disabling iMessage completely until Apple finds a solution to the problem. So far, Apple has neither confirmed nor denied these claims.

In a statement on its Twitter account, Trust Wallet suggested turning off iMessage to ensure user security, which is their priority. The statement referred to the disabling of iMessage until the security update arrives and the hashtag#SAFU(Secure All Funds).

Go to Settings -> Messages -> turn off iMessage.

This isn't the first cryptocurrency warning from Apple this month. Previously, Bitcoin wallet UniSat also informed its users about a fake storage solution in the iOS app store.

Last month, the cryptocurrency community was faced with a vulnerability that allowed malicious actors to steal cryptographic keys due to a CPU cache error in Apple's M1, M2 and M3 processor chips. Apple announced that it is aware of the problem, but has not yet shared information about a security update. As a precaution, some security experts recommend that users with significant amounts of crypto money move their assets to a different location from their iOS devices.
