It really ticks me off, you know? Like, seriously, it's something we should all be waking up to as a society. We go all out bashing a disruptive project like WorldCoin for "scanning irises and paying people for it," but hey, think about it, every single day we're handing over our digital fingerprints to Apple, handing out our data and interests like candy to Google, and God knows what else to a bunch of servers and data processors online who don't even say thank you! Even web browsers are scooping up our intentions, predicting our desires, and feeding us info based on our browsing history without even a heads-up. And we're doing it all without even realizing it. How many of us actually bother to open a tab in incognito mode, if we even know what that means? How many double-check if incognito mode is on before hitting up Google? How many of us have any clue what data we're throwing out there when we jump online? And seriously, how much should Google, Apple, and the governments be coughing up for snagging our biometric data and tying it to our IDs, you know, those procedures they call #KYC ? Have you ever really stopped to think about all of this? Let's do this noooow dude! Stick with me!
#Worldcoin is shaking things up by paying for iris scans. Talk about aiming high! Their grand idea of a global identity is all about scanning irises and dishing out those $WLD tokens. At least with WLD, you get something in return... unlike the others, right? But hey, when it comes to different countries, WorldCoin's the bad guy, and what they're doing is A-OK đ€ Oh, and governments are slapping them with hefty fines for not being transparent with users. Classic, right?
What's your take on all this?
