As reported by U.Today, private wealth management firm Wedmont Private Capital has acquired 3,471 shares of Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) worth $209,336, according to recent regulatory filings. Wedmont’s selling point is its $10,000 flat fee, which sets it apart from competitors that offer asset-based fees. The company’s website shows that the company targets high-net-worth individuals with more than $1 million in investable assets. The company was co-founded by former Vanguard Financial Advisor Services executive Dominic Corabi and former UBS UHNW vice president James Pelletier. The two met while working for Credit Suisse, a global investment bank and financial services company headquartered in Switzerland. Fidelity’s Bitcoin ETF was approved in early January along with other rival Bitcoin ETF products. It attracted $3 million worth of Bitcoin on Tuesday, far behind BlackRock’s $128.7 million, U.Today reported.
