eCash (XEC) is a blockchain-based digital currency platform designed to facilitate peer-to-peer (P2P) transactions and electronic funds transfers, as well as its ability to interoperate with various blockchain networks. The platform originated as a reconfigured version of Bitcoin Cash ABC, which itself is a fork of Bitcoin Cash that evolved from Bitcoin. The eCash protocol also supports fast transaction confirmation, low transaction fees, and ensures transaction confidentiality.
