Li Lin: I have nothing to do with "Huobi Hong Kong". Please ask Huobi to stop using the Huobi brand immediately.

According to ChainCatcher, Huobi founder Li Lin posted on social media about whether Huobi HK (Huobi Hong Kong) is related to him personally, and whether Huobi App reuses the word "Huobi":

1. After October 8, 2022, he will no longer be a shareholder of Huobi, and any business activities of Huobi will have nothing to do with Li Lin personally.

2. According to the transaction agreement, Huobi prohibits the use of the “Huobi” and “Huobi” brands in simplified and traditional Chinese (Huobi’s Chinese name was changed to “Huobi”).

3. Please Huobi immediately stop the infringement of using the Chinese "Huobi" and "Huobi".

4. Li Lin’s relevant legal personnel will send a lawyer’s letter to HuoBi Company, urging it to stop the infringement. Later, they will decide whether to take further legal measures against it according to the circumstances to safeguard Li Lin’s legitimate rights and interests.
