V4 will add four functions to its automatic market maker (AMM) to make users’ on-chain transactions cheaper and more efficient. . Lead developer Chef Mochi said V4 addresses the shortcomings of current AMMs, including inflexible pricing models for all assets, lack of CEX-level execution capabilities, impermanent losses for liquidity providers, and expensive on-chain gas fees for users.
