It was the year 2020, we worked for a betting company that did not have all the licenses up to date, we affiliated people to the platform and they gave us a % of the profits. That year we learned the whole topic of cryptocurrencies, looking for an alternative to collect our commissions, and I was about to buy my first bitcoin for $9000. Although we had been advised by the activity we carried out, there was no regulatory framework against it, therefore they told us that we could work in peace. I was very excited to be able to buy 1 bitcoin, there was talk that it was going to break 20,000, that it could reach 40,000.
The prosecutor releases us from preventive detention, leaving me out of the dream. I had to watch from jail on the news how BTC reached $50,000.
10 months later they set us free, but they had confiscated everything from us. We are left with nothing. Seeing bitcoin at 69k generated an immense depression, who knows how much I could have accumulated in that entire year, 2, 3 or 4 BTC. It would have changed my life.
In prison I had to share a pavilion with the people of ONE COIN, a famous crypto that never reached any exchange but was one of the largest crypto movements worldwide. He was classified as a ponzi. From those guys I learned a lot about cryptocurrencies, blockchain, etc.
My entire prison process helped me become a crypto activist. Today I teach people for free how to enter the crypto world, so that they can achieve their personal objectives, leveraging and capitalizing thanks to cryptocurrencies.
My story is tragic, I was not a bad person, I did not deserve what happened to me, I worked to end the scams that existed in online gambling in Argentina that was never regulated and that is why we did so well.
Broke and depressed, I survived these years as best I could, I hope now to be able to take the leap with this bullish cycle, with the little I was able to accumulate, to continue with my endeavors.
