$BTC (Bitcoin Ordinals, NFTs inscribed on satoshis, saw a sales volume surge to $1.6bn dollars in the past three months, with 200k unique byers.
OKX dominated sales, but magic Eden emerged as the second largest marketplace.
Over the same period, more than 1.6m ordinals were inscribed by 1.2m unique addresses, which resulted in them paying 3,000 BTC in transaction fees.
