Build the Block, the world's first Web3 startup reality show held entirely in the Metaverse, will go online on time at 22:00 (UTC+8) on May 12.

This May, outstanding talents in the Web3 field will gather in an immersive virtual arena to present an unprecedented feast for global audiences.

Build the Block is a collaboration between Binance Studio, Binance’s global creative studio, and Binance Labs. 12 promising Web3 projects will compete to win a chance to scale up, increase visibility, and acquire more users.

Competition Format

There will be 7 20-minute episodes in the whole season for the audience to watch. The project team members will face off and present their projects to the metaverse audience and the jury. The jury is strong, including:

  • He Yi, Co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer of Binance; Head of Binance Labs

  • Yi Bo Ling, Chief Business Officer, Binance Labs

  • Robby Yung, CEO, Animoca Brands Investment; Partner, Animoca Capital

  • Azeem Khan, Director of Fundraising and Partnerships, Gitcoin

  • Guy Turner, Co-founder and Face of CoinBureau

Projects that receive the highest number of votes from the audience jury (composed of influencers, venture capital institutions and project founders) will enter the question-and-answer session, where the jury will ask all-round questions and give scores to the projects.

The winning project of each game will receive subsequent relevant resource support, and the project with the highest total score will become the winner of this season. The results will be announced in the last episode on June 2.
