The 10 commandments of an investor.
.- You will invest money that you do not need to live or for your close plans.
.- You will learn from the best investors and adapt their teachings to your profile and objectives.
.- You will be trained before and after investing. Investment requires knowledge, analysis and constant updating.
.- You will be patient and think in the long term. Don't get carried away by emotions, trends or unrealistic expectations.
.- You will follow the trend. A trend is more likely to continue than to change, as long as there are no clear signs of turning.
.- You will cut your losses. Set an exit level before entering a position and stick to it.
.- You will diversify. Invest in different assets, sectors and markets, and do not concentrate your portfolio on a few options.
.- You will not leverage yourself or, at least, you will not do so excessively. Leverage multiplies profits, but also losses. Don't go into more debt than you can handle.
.- You will not invest for tax reasons. Don't make investment decisions just to save taxes, but to obtain a good net return.
.- You will not consider your house an investment. Your house is your home, the place where you live with your family. Do not buy it thinking about speculating on its price, but rather about enjoying it.
