We are happy to announce that the NFT cross-chain bridge has been integrated into the cloud wallet! The NFT cross-chain bridge will build a bridge between the WAX blockchain and the Ethereum/Binance blockchain, opening up a new world of infinite possibilities for the WAX NFT community. From now on, NFTs will no longer be limited to one blockchain, and you can benefit from Ethereum’s massive liquidity while enjoying free, instant transactions on WAX. The future is an era of multi-chains.

  • If the collection owner wants to transfer the collection, he needs to activate the collection in the cloud wallet and prove that he is the owner of the collection. Whether WAX collectibles were created using a cloud wallet, or WAX collectibles created using other WAX blockchain wallets such as Anchor, all WAX collectibles are transferable.

  • Collection owners will need to provide a destination chain address that they own and for which there is no existing deployed smart contract.

Activation will use the Ethereum/Binance address provided by the owner of the collection to generate and deploy an ERC721 smart contract representing the collection on the destination chain. The collectible owner’s wallet address will be the owner of the ERC721 smart contract and must pay the gas fees associated with the ERC721 smart contract deployment process.

  • Collection owners will have full control over the utility of their bridged collectibles, and once deployed, the smart contract can neither be upgraded nor changed. Collection owners can choose the market to transfer to, set up their collection after enabling the transfer and paying the gas fee.

If a collection owner wants to transfer multiple WAX blockchain collectibles, each collection will need to have a separate destination chain address.

Without further ado, we will attach a guide on how to use the NFT cross-chain bridge in the cloud wallet to ensure a seamless experience for everyone.

Step 1: Open MyCloudWallet and access the NFT cross-chain bridge

First, go to MyCloudWallet.com and click on the "NFT Bridge" tab. If the WAX collection was created through the Anchor wallet, select the "Anchor" option and connect to the Anchor wallet. (Note: The bridge transaction must be initiated using the same wallet that owns the collection).

Step 2: Set up your collection

In the "NFT Bridge" tab, select "Collection Setup" and choose to bridge the collection to Ethereum or Binance.

Step 3: Select your collection and send it

Select the collection you want to bridge to Ethereum or Binance and click "SEND". After ensuring you are connected to the correct Ethereum/Binance wallet, the cloud wallet will ask to approve the transaction.

Step 4: Claim and transfer

Once the transaction is approved, click "Claim" and the WAX collectibles will be mapped to the Ethereum/Binance ERC721 smart contract. To complete the transfer, you also need to sign a transaction on Ethereum/Binance and pay the gas fees associated with the ERC721 smart contract deployment.

Step 5: Wait for the collection to finish initializing

After signing an Ethereum/Binance transaction, the collection will take some time to initialize, please be patient.

Step 6: View collection address

After the collection is initialized, you can view the collection address. Congratulations, you have successfully mapped your WAX NFT collectibles to other blockchains!

We believe that integrating NFT cross-chain bridges into cloud wallets will completely change the NFT landscape, and NFT collectors will be able to enjoy unprecedented freedom and flexibility when managing digital assets. Don’t wait any longer, try it today and experience the future of NFT!
