Yuga Labs' Metaverse project Otherside posted on Twitter that the Koda NFT split and Vessel Claim have begun. Only Otherdeeds that own Koda can split, but all Otherdeeds holders can claim a Vessel NFT. The claim process is best completed through a desktop browser. Vessel Claim and NFT splits are open indefinitely.
Otherside added that users’ Otherdeed NFT must be destroyed after the split, and burning the original Otherdeed will produce a Koda NFT and an Otherdeed Expanded NFT without Koda. Each NFT will exist in a new collection, independent of each other. The Otherdeed Expanded NFT is the key to unlocking future gaming experiences and activations, including Otherside: Legends of the Mara.
