The equipment is quite modest. Inside the box there is the device itself, two combs with contacts and a small cord with a plug for connecting power not via a USB port.

The device looks like a small plastic rectangle with a screen. On the front side there is a 1.8-inch color screen. On the left there is an inscription with the name of the manufacturer, and on the right there are two buttons. They are needed to change the screen and its orientation. And if you hold down both buttons for 10 seconds, a complete reset will occur.
There is a ventilation grille on the right side. There is slight heating when the device is operating
On the right there is a USB Type-C port and a connector for connecting the supplied cable for connecting an alternative power source (3.3V).
There is nothing on top, only decorative elements. And at the bottom there is an additional button that reboots the device when pressed (it’s better not to press it, I accidentally reset the entire uptime, but wanted to show it in the photo)
On the back there is a sticker with information about the device, and a plastic orange cover. At first I thought it was a leg or stand, but after I couldn’t pick it out, I realized that it was just a housing element.

Setting up the miniminer
We turn it on, and we are greeted by this welcome window.
Now we need a laptop or phone. We connect to the JingleMiner Wi-Fi network that appears and go to the configurator menu (if we connect from a PC, a notification appears in the browser that the network is not configured, and if you click on it, we get to the settings). Here we need to register the home Wi-Fi network settings, as well as our own settings
Below I will indicate exactly what needs to be written down:
SSID: Current available Wi-Fi name
Password: Available Wi-Fi password
Pool URL: pool.vkbit.com (only this URL can be used)
Pool port: 3333 (Only this port can be used)
Your BTC Address: Available BTC Wallet Address

After everything has been entered, click the Save button and wait until the device reboots.

At first the counter will be at zeros, and then it will start working. Since this is a desktop device, there are multiple screens. They are switched by pressing the upper right button. There are three screens in total. But the one that displays the current time will be useful to us. And on the same screen the current Bitcoin rate is displayed. We can see in the screenshot that at the time I took the photos, the rate was $46,618

Why do I say that the most useful screen is the one that displays the time? Well, because the usefulness of this device is much higher, as an unusual desktop clock, than as a real miner. The performance here is so low that the mining speed is only 56KH/s at peak. Despite the fact that modern ASICs (mining devices) are 2-3 MILLION times more powerful. It’s true that they consume many times more. And they make noise. And the market value of such devices is hundreds of times higher. So this Jingleminer can only be called a miner conditionally. Due to the low income rate, this device cannot even participate in the general pool. That is why the pool pool.vkbit.com is specified in the settings, which is single. This pool gives a small chance to mine an independent block in the Bitcoin network and hit the jackpot of 6.25 BTC. How much it will be in $ can be calculated by multiplying by the exchange rate. And it is precisely this chance that is the lottery. And by the way, despite the fact that all this sounds very implausible, news periodically appears on the Internet that another lucky person managed to hit the jackpot by finding a block of Bitcoin in a similar individual miner with an extremely low hashrate.
But, naturally, I in no way advocate buying such a device as a lottery, or as a chance to hit the jackpot. This device is primarily just a toy. Table decoration for mining lovers. A souvenir. A gift for passionate people. And it was as a gift that I received it. Although from the moment I received it, it stands on my table, shows the time and calculates something. At the time of writing this review, the uptime is 12 days. And to be honest, I have such a cherished dream of “well, what if!” but the chance is extremely small. Therefore, I treat the device simply as a watch and a souvenir.
Well, naturally, I can only recommend this device for purchase to those who are interested in it as a souvenir, or to those who are thinking about what to give to a person who is passionate about mining. For such people the device will be interesting. But in terms of earning money, there is no chance here, only waste. Not so much for electricity (the device consumes extremely little) but for the device itself. Its price is now about $50. Although there are cheaper options.
