#Write2Earn BlackRock says the Fed is expected to start cutting interest rates in May
Neeraj Seth, BlackRock's APAC Head of Core Fixed Income, said in a statement to Bloomberg TV after the messages Fed Chairman Jerome Powell gave at yesterday's press conference, that they expect the Fed to start easing interest rates as of May.
Pictet Asset Mgmt Fixed Income CIO Mary-Therese Barton also stated in her statement to Bloomberg TV that the reduction in monetary tightening, which the Fed stated that it would discuss in March, will probably end in the third quarter of this year.
