The G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting (FMCBG) will be held in Bengaluru from February 22 to 25, and the meeting will discuss crypto assets and steps towards regulation.
Ajay Seth, secretary of the Department of Economic Affairs of the Indian Ministry of Finance, said at a media conference that the discussion on crypto assets is one of the three seminars planned during the FMCBG meeting. Ajay Seth said that the discussion during the seminar will "help reach a consensus on crypto assets." He added that work on the regulation of cryptocurrencies and other assets is underway with the assistance of various international organizations. (The Indian Express)
