According to TechFlow, on November 8, the Republican Party of the United States seems to continue to control the House of Representatives. In the 2024 election cycle, it may reverse the situation in the Senate and the White House and complete a three-game winning streak.
As of press time, the Associated Press has reported 409 seats (out of a total of 435), with Democrats winning 199 and Republicans winning 210. The first party to win 218 seats will win the majority.
As of 6:30 p.m. ET Thursday, Republicans were ahead in at least 14 of the 27 remaining races, according to an Associated Press tally, meaning they would retain their majority for at least the next two years if those results hold.
