According to BlockBeats, on November 1, former U.S. federal prosecutor James K. Filan disclosed the latest developments in the U.S. SEC v. Ripple case on the X platform. The Second Circuit Court of Appeals has issued an order requiring the SEC's litigation brief to be submitted by January 15, 2025.
If briefs are not filed by that date, the appeal will be dismissed effective January 15, 2025. Motions for extensions of time to file briefs or seeking other relief will not be counted toward the filing date.
