According to PANews, U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris announced a new policy on Monday aimed at providing more economic and developmental opportunities for Black men. The key components of the policy include offering one million forgivable loans, each up to $20,000, to Black entrepreneurs for starting businesses. Additionally, the policy supports educational training and mentorship programs to help Black men secure high-paying jobs, including pathways to becoming teachers. The initiative also aims to protect cryptocurrency investments, ensuring that Black male investors know their funds are secure. Furthermore, a national health program will be launched to address diseases disproportionately affecting Black men. The policy also includes the legalization of recreational marijuana, creating opportunities for Black Americans to succeed in this emerging industry. However, during her speech in Erie, Pennsylvania, later on Monday, Harris did not provide further details on the regulatory framework for cryptocurrency.
