According to PANews, updated data on the official website of the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission showed that the virtual asset trading platform license application submitted by HKDAX to the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission was withdrawn on October 9.

Relevant information shows that the company name of the virtual asset trading platform operator submitted by HKDAX is "Hong Kong Digital Asset Xchange Limited". HKDAX first submitted its application on August 27, 2024.

As of now, the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission has announced that a total of 13 applicants have had their virtual asset trading platform licenses withdrawn and returned, of which 1 was returned; the number of applicants on the virtual asset trading platform application list is 15, of which 11 have been issued licenses and 3 are on the licensed virtual asset trading platform list.
