According to BlockBeats, Bitwise Chief Investment Officer Matt Hougan said that more and more top financial advisors are allocating crypto assets in their personal investment portfolios.

Hougan noted that about 70% of advisors own Bitcoin or other crypto assets, up from just 10% to 20% in the previous two years.

While many advisors do not yet allocate Bitcoin in client accounts, Hougan predicts that as advisors’ personal allocations increase, client investments will follow, potentially changing significantly within 6 to 12 months. He sees this as an important signal of increased acceptance of cryptocurrencies in the financial community.
