According to BlockBeats, on September 23, Bitcoin mining companies Riot Platforms and Bitfarms announced a settlement agreement to resolve the dispute. The agreement has been submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and will be reached before Bitfarms' special shareholders meeting on November 6.

Under the terms of the settlement, Riot agreed to withdraw its proposal to replace certain directors on the Bitfarms board of directors. In exchange, Bitfarms appointed Amy Freedman to the board of directors and assigned her to the governance and nominating committee, the compensation committee, and any special committee of independent directors.
