Australian rapper Iggy Azalea has announced the launch of a new online crypto casino, Motherland, which will be powered by her meme coin MOTHER, Cointelegraph reported.
Motherland was unveiled at Solana Breakpointâs âMotherland Rodeoâ event in Singapore and is expected to go live in November.
Motherland will offer online gambling such as slots, blackjack, roulette and poker, as well as live dealer games, tournaments, sports betting and other community gambling activities.
Joe McCann, founder of crypto hedge fund Asymmetric and advisor to Motherland, said Motherland is part of Azaleaâs long-term vision for the MOTHER Meme coin.
McCann revealed that there will be more practical benefits for MOTHER holders in the future. Currently, holders already enjoy a 20% discount on passes for the Breakaway Music Festival.
Motherlandâs launch comes just three months after Azalea relaunched telecom company Unreal Mobile, which offers tiered discount plans for MOTHER holders.
McCann denied that Motherland is a âmemecoin casinoâ on the Solana network, emphasizing DeFi and decentralized physical infrastructure projects on Solana.
Despite Azaleaâs entrepreneurial efforts, the MOTHER token has fallen 78% since its all-time high in June and currently has a market cap of $56.6 million.
