According to TechFlow, on September 19, Commerzbank announced a partnership with Crypto Finance, a subsidiary of Deutsche Börse Group, to provide cryptocurrency trading services to German corporate clients. The service will be launched on September 19, 2024, initially focusing on Bitcoin and Ethereum transactions.

Gernot Kleckner, head of corporate clients at Commerzbank Capital Markets, said the collaboration enables corporate clients to seize the opportunities presented by Bitcoin and Ethereum and represents the highest security standards for crypto asset trading and custody.

Previously, Commerzbank obtained the German cryptocurrency custody license in November 2023, laying the foundation for it to provide a wide range of digital asset-related services. In this cooperation, Commerzbank will be responsible for providing custody services, while Crypto Finance will be responsible for implementing digital asset transactions.
