According to Bloomberg, fund manager Scaramucci said that the United States will introduce legislation supporting cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin and stablecoins in the first half of the next congressional term. He prefers bipartisan legislation supported by both Republicans and Democrats.
Scaramucci expressed optimism about the prospects for cryptocurrency regulation under a Harris administration, citing discussions with her campaign. Last month, an adviser to Harris’ campaign said Harris would support measures that promote the industry while maintaining appropriate safeguards.
SkyBridge, previously known for investing in other fund managers, began turning to digital assets in 2020. Scaramucci expects the Federal Reserve to cut interest rates, which will be beneficial to U.S. and global asset prices, and predicts that Bitcoin may reach $100,000 by the end of this year.
