According to BlockBeats, Deutsche Bank surveyed 4,850 consumers in Europe, the United Kingdom, and the United States in March this year. The results show that cash will not disappear anytime soon. Most respondents prefer to use debit or credit cards rather than CBDC.

44% of respondents said they would prefer to use cash rather than central bank digital currencies, and only 16% believed that CBDCs would become mainstream.

Thirty-one percent said they would prefer to use a cryptocurrency managed by a central bank or government, with only 21% saying they would choose to use a private cryptocurrency like Bitcoin (BTC).
