According to Foresight News, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin responded to the question "Why are crypto people obsessed with founders never selling cryptocurrencies?" and said that he has never sold tokens and retained the proceeds since 2018.
All token proceeds will be donated to support public goods within the Ethereum ecosystem or broader philanthropy. It does not plan to invest in L2 or other token projects in the future.
