According to Cointelegraph, the Penpie protocol was hacked on September 3, 2024, losing $27 million. On-chain investigations showed that the attack transaction came from an address ending in "bb7". Penpie has suspended all deposit and withdrawal operations.
A Pendle spokesperson said all customer funds remained safe and all contracts had been suspended until the issue was resolved.
