According to Foresight News, Indian private bank HDFC Bank launched new Unified Payments Interface (UPI) and CBDC features at the 2024 Global Fintech Festival to enhance digital banking for customers.
These features were developed in partnership with fintech companies such as Kreditpe, Tonetag and Payu. New products include UPI Circle-Delegate Payment, personalized UPI experience and user-level programmable CBDC.
