According to Odaily Planet Daily, Elon Musk posted on X platform that the algorithm of X platform assumes that users interacting with content means they want to see more of this kind of content. One of the strongest signals is forwarding X's posts to friends.
Musk explained that if a user retweets a post, the platform assumes that the user really likes the content because it takes effort to retweet, but if the user retweets out of anger, the platform is not smart enough to realize that yet.
