According to PANews, an Indian court has directed the Ministry of Communications to shut down 38 websites that were fraudulently operating under the name of cryptocurrency exchange Mudrex. The Delhi High Court issued the order on August 23, following a lawsuit filed by Mudrex. The court has mandated the ministry to enforce the order within a week. Mudrex took legal action after numerous users reported being scammed, with estimates suggesting that around 1,000 individuals were affected, resulting in losses exceeding $50,000. The fraudsters posed as Mudrex employees on Telegram and used fake websites to illegally collect funds.
